A blind teenager  and their assistance dog, a young Malamute, are caught in a war zone. The dog must usually hunt of food as its master stays in their shelter, trying to fix a cell phone and call for rescue, but the roles will change from time to time and new actors will be introduced, based on the player's actions. The dog has two leveling trees, one called Guide and the other called Guardian, helping people grants Guide points, reminding it of its assistance dog training, opening doors, using elevator and generally easing navigation. Guardian reminds it of its early guard dog training and draws it closer to its wolf origins, this increases its combat capacities, allows it to hunt small animals and eat the food it finds instead of always bringing it back to its master.

A player can also be neutral, pragmatic, and follow a narrow line called "Nidobso", where they must be in perfect balance between both sides of the animal. This is not as powerful as the Guardian or as versatile as the Guide, but it grants some very unique abilities.

The teenager has senses, touch, hearing and smell. Touch increases combat skills, repair, reading and generally speeds up everything. Smell helps find food on their own, detect hidden enemies and increases the nutritious level of cooked food. Hearing increases the amount of detail in the world (which begins as nothing but black and white polygons, lets them run faster (as they are more confident in wher they are going) and reduces the probability of a wall spontaneously popping up in the way.

When the two are together, the dog's attack speed and damage are doubled, the teenager's odds of running into things are brought down to zero and the player can freely switch between the two without suffering visual penalties (Otherwise, Dog cannot read, is blinded by bright lights and does not understand human speech.)
